After attending an ICCR Annual Meeting, an observer regulator must request to participate in any ICCR Working Group by sending a letter to the current ICCR Chair within one month after the Annual Meeting. The observer regulator may request participation in the next ICCR Annual Meeting in this same letter.
At the 5th ICCR Annual Meeting (July 2011), the ICCR Steering Committee considered expanding the ICCR membership to include other countries expressing an interest. Since 2012, other cosmetic regulatory authorities have been able to participate as ICCR observers.
Brazil was accepted as a member of the ICCR Steering Committee following the 8th ICCR Annual Meeting (July 2014).
Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) - Chinese Taipei and Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) - Republic of Korea were accepted as members of the ICCR Steering Committee following the 14th ICCR Annual Meeting (December 2020).
The Ministry of Health of Israel (MOH) was accepted as member of the ICCR Steering Committee following the 16th ICCR Annual Meeting (June 2022).
The inclusion of other members of the ICCR and their appropriate status is decided by consensus by the ICCR Steering Committee.
A stakeholder session is generally organized as part of the ICCR annual meeting. Interested parties may contact the current ICCR Chair for further information.
